Algae Control is a plant based treatment effective against many aquatic algae types and cyanobacteria. The product is a water soluble liquid that can be applied as a foliar spray or added directly to tanks and bodies of water. The active ingredients in our product targets and inhibits various forms of algae and cyanobacteria in the water column. The compounds attack filamentous, suspended, and attached species by targeting enzymes to prevent and eliminate algae growth. Algae Control is safe for ecosystems and will not harm fish or other aquatic plants when following dosage guidelines. 

This product is not designed for human consumption.

Add 1 -2 oz (30-60ml) per 10 gallons in your tank!

For best results, use weekly and add solution during your water change. Mixing it into the water before adding back into the tank is a great way to ensure the product will be properly diluted. 

Spot treating hair algaes will produce faster results.

It's important not to overdue or rush the introduction of a new substance as we don't want to stress our your critters! If causing stress to your fish or shrimp is a concern, we encourage dosing 1/2oz twice a week for a smoother introduction.

If results aren't performing as desired after a few weeks, rest easy and increase dosage to 1oz for every 5 gallons as your fish and other critters have had time to adjust and adapt.

    Relax and dose once a week

    Reducing stress is important for you and your fish. We recommend small, weekly dosings of 1 oz for every 10 gal in your tank to keep your aquarium stable and regulated. Check out our how to use guide for staying stress-free AND algae-free with alignment in your tank.
